About Me

Hey there, I’m Angela —

I’m a therapist who specializes in working with adults with OCD, particularly those caught in cycles of intrusive thoughts, mental checking, perfectionism, and compulsive behaviors driven by the need to feel “sure” or “just right".”

My work is grounded in exposure and response prevention (ERP), but therapy with me is practical, collaborative, and rooted in real life. I’m direct and honest, and I focus on helping you build skills you can actually use outside of therapy.

As a recovering type-A perfectionist, I understand the pull toward control and certainty. I also know the relief that comes from loosening impossible standards and learning to trust yourself again. My approach is evidence-based, with room for humor, flexibility, and the beautifully imperfect parts of being human.

Therapy with me is likely a good fit for you if:

  • Your life looks great on paper, and yet your mind won’t give you a break.

  • You second-guess yourself, replay conversations, reread messages a million times over before hitting send, and check the stove even when you know it's fine.

  • You feel stuck in cycles of thoughts and the urge to perform rituals that drain your time and energy.

  • You’ve tried to think your way out of fear, and it never quite works.

You’re not broken, weak, or failing. These patterns are common in OCD, and they’re treatable.

If you’re ready to break out of these patterns, reach out to get started.
